Piano Lessons

As an experienced piano teacher, I offer individual lessons for beginners and advanced students. My main teaching objective is to convey a deeper understanding of the music. It is not the learning of the notes that is of foremost importance, but the experience and comprehension of the music in its entirety.

Right from the beginning, I encourage my students to learn to express themselves on the piano. Many of them are inhibited or reluctant when they first start to improvise. And yet, improvisation is something that makes up our daily lives. The ability to experience this in terms of music is an important part of my teaching.

I teach all genres—classical, pop, jazz, etc.
